I have considered the effects of cultural manipulation by our society's larger capitalistic agenda. Our role of culture consumer (as opposed to producer) is sustained under the false pretenses of product "customization", which is really just the curation of options by corporate competition that provides us with a deluded sense of control.

With this in mind, all the furniture of our lives cannot reasonably be created from scratch. My thought here was to provide a mechanism that allows any surface provided by the user to be converted into a table, in an attempt to promote a more honest form of object personalization.
